Dr. Carol Dawson-Rose has been selected as the next dean of the UCSF School of Nursing. She currently leads the school’s Department of Community Health Systems and brings more than 35 years of experience to her new role, as well as a passion for advancing research, education, and diversity.

UC San Francisco will launch its annual staff engagement survey on Tuesday, April 9. Staff are encouraged to provide candid feedback in the survey to inform UCSF as it strives to provide a more inclusive and engaging place to work, and to foster support for staff members’ overall well-being.
Action Required: Monovalent COVID-19 Vaccination
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, all members of the UCSF community, including employees of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, are required to obtain the latest monovalent COVID-19 vaccine or decline vaccination by March 1, 2024.
