UCSF and UCSF Health are committed to encouraging civic participation throughout our community. The 2026 General Election on November 3 is a critical opportunity for Californians to make their voices heard. The first step is registering to vote and ensuring all your information is up to date so you can participate in the election.

Registering to vote is easy — you can do it in less than five minutes!

The deadline to register to vote for the Election is October 19. If you miss the deadline, California also offers same-day voter registration through Election Day.

All California active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the November election this month. If you are a California resident who has not received your ballot, visit the Secretary of State’s “Where’s My Ballot?” webpage.

Your vote is your voice. You are the difference!
