Dear UCSF Community,
As we begin this year’s Staff Engagement Survey, we invite you to reflect on your work experience and share your perspective. By taking the survey between April 7 and May 1, you can shape how we grow and improve in support of our mission at UCSF and UCSF Health.
We encourage you to participate by locating your email invitation from Gallup. You will be able to complete the confidential survey in around 10 minutes.
Your participation in this survey helps advance our commitment to patient care, education, and research. The survey builds on our existing foundation of core questions — including the questions about patient safety culture specific to UCSF Health staff — enabling us to capture how work is experienced across our organization and track engagement benchmarks over time.
This year, we are introducing new questions that reflect feedback from our staff and leaders. The questions address how teams collaborate, how work flows across systems and processes, and how we support one another in a dynamic and evolving environment. They also focus on the role of direct leaders, recognizing the importance of communication, support, and trust in the day-to-day experiences of our teams.
Your voice informs how we lead, prioritize, and take action. Through this survey, you can provide critical insight into what our organization is doing well and where we must concentrate our efforts. You can learn more on UCSF.edu.
