Gratitude for Your Dedication in 2025
Chancellor Hawgood shares his appreciation to the UCSF community for the ways it has contributed to the mission in 2025, and sends wishes for a safe, restful, and healthy holiday season.
Dear UCSF Community,
As we bring 2025 to a close, I want to express my deep appreciation to everyone across the UCSF community for the many ways you have contributed to our mission this year.
Your commitment to advancing education, research, and patient care continues to push boundaries. That dedication has mattered even more in a year marked by significant and unprecedented challenges. Throughout it all, you continued to show up for the people we serve, navigating the uncertainty before us with our PRIDE Values and Principles of Community.
I am grateful for the care, professionalism, and integrity you bring to our shared work. Highlights of the UCSF community’s accomplishments can be found in our end-of-year recap on UCSF.edu.
As we look ahead to the opportunities the new year will bring, I wish you and your loved ones a safe, restful, and healthy holiday season.
From my family to yours, happy holidays.
Warmly,
Sam Hawgood, MBBS
