Apply for Career Wellness and Career Mobility Grants

UCSF and UCSF Health faculty and staff are invited to apply for a Career Wellness and Career Mobility Grant by Monday, Feb. 23. The grants support ideas for career well-being and highlight the importance of career wellness, one of UCSF's seven pillars of wellness.

This message is sent on behalf of the Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President/Assistant Vice Chancellor of People Wellness to faculty and staff at UCSF and UCSF Health.

Dear UCSF Faculty and Staff,

As we step into 2026, we want to take a moment to thank you for the incredible work you do every day to support UCSF’s mission. Your ideas, dedication, and passion make a real difference—not only for our patients and learners but for each other as colleagues. We’re excited to announce a special opportunity this year that highlights the importance of career wellness, one of UCSF’s seven pillars of wellness.

The Career Wellness and Career Mobility Grants program is your chance to bring forward ideas that support the career well-being of faculty and staff across UCSF. Whether you’ve envisioned a program to boost professional growth, strengthen mentorship, prevent burnout, or create new opportunities for career mobility, this grant is your opportunity to turn those ideas into action. The application period opens today, Monday, Jan. 12 and closes on Monday, Feb. 23. We encourage you to submit your application in the portal before the deadline.

Why Career Wellness Matters

Career wellness is about more than professional growth—it’s about finding meaning in the work we do, aligning it with our values, and ensuring it supports our overall well-being. When we thrive in our careers, it strengthens our community and allows UCSF to fulfill its mission to advance health worldwide.
