ACTION Required: Take Mandatory Trainings

All employees and learners are reminded to complete mandatory trainings.

Dear UCSF Community,

This is a reminder that as an employee or learner at UCSF, you are responsible for taking all mandatory trainings to protect you, the University and our mission.

These trainings are essential to maintaining a working and learning environment that upholds our PRIDE Values and complies with all laws, regulations and policies. Mandatory training is a priority for the UC Office of the President and compliance is reviewed regularly by the UC Board of Regents.

At UCSF, there are four types of trainings that are required for all faculty, staff and learners. Content for these courses is updated periodically to provide relevant and practical information that can help you navigate issues encountered while working and learning.

These trainings cover safe cyber security practices, preventing harassment, ways to support a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment, and how to handle ethical issues, such as conflict of interest and financial disclosures.

For more information and links to the online training required for your specific role at UCSF and UCSF Health, please visit the Learning & Organization Development website. You can read more about mandatory training in this news story.

I appreciate your ongoing attention to complete the required trainings necessary to work and learn at UCSF safely, effectively and responsibly.

Sincerely,

Brian Smith
UCSF Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer
