Council on Staff Worklife


Charge

To support and advance the quality of worklife for UCSF staff by: assessing workforce issues and concerns through on-going and well researched workforce assessment processes (e.g., staff employee surveys and reports on internal/external workforce trend(s); maximizing collaboration and synergy while minimizing redundancy between the various UCSF offices and groups who are responsible for addressing particular aspects of staff workforce issues and concerns; assessing and supporting workforce improvement ideas and recommendations to improve the quality, diversity, and productivity of UCSF's workforce; provide a point of coordinated, comprehensive, and on-going communication to the campus community on important quality of staff worklife issues; overseeing and monitoring the implementation of particular programs and proposals that advance the quality of worklife for staff at UCSF; and providing oversight and guidance on the planning and implementation of future staff employee surveys, including the follow-up to the former Staff Opinion Surveys.
