Executive Committee on Diversity

Charge

To evaluate recommendations and proposals remanded to them by the Chancellor for advice and/or implementation. The Committee also provides advice to the Chancellor regarding recommendations contained in the annual reports of each of the campus' diversity committees (Academic Diversity, Disability Issues, Diversity, GLBT Issues, and Status of Women). The Committee sets priorities for action and ensures accountability by those identified as responsible for implementation. The existence of this Committee in no way changes the charge to any existing advisory committee. Rather, it serves as the enabling body for realizing recommendations that are agreed should be implemented.
