Chancellor's Administrative and Operating Efficiencies Work GroupChargeThe charge to the work group is to improve our projected FY2011 operating margin by $28 million to $40 million by means of developing, proposing, and overseeing the implementation of administrative efficiencies, new or increased revenue, and net cost reductions. The lower end of the range would cover the reduction in state funds that UCSF would most likely suffer in FY2011 and the higher would provide additional savings for reinvestment in our core missions. The range of savings equates to approximately seven to ten percent of UCSF's administrative and institutional support budget, including salaries, benefits and related supplies and expenses.
