Jennifer Arnett is the vice chancellor for University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) at UCSF. In this role, she leads the day-to-day operations of UCSF’s development staff and oversees the fundraisers and development professionals responsible for philanthropic support across UCSF to support its basic and clinical research programs, professional and graduate education, as well as UCSF Health, including the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. Jennifer is also one of the primary architects of UCSF’s recently launched $5B comprehensive fundraising campaign.
Jennifer spent five years as UDAR’s associate vice chancellor, partnering with former Vice Chancellor John Ford in leading the UDAR team before becoming vice chancellor.
A magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University, Jennifer originally joined UCSF in June 2010 as senior director of UDAR’s Corporate and Foundation Relations office. Before her arrival at UCSF, she worked in development at Emory University in Atlanta, as a fundraising consultant, and as an associate at Battery Ventures in Boston.
